The New Wife

Hello and welcome back to the New Wife!

Today, while the wind is howling outside and the rain is smashing the windows like little bullets, I’m going to tell you about my poor little garden that is currently getting destroyed by the aforementioned rain bullets.

My husband and I have spent many hours in the last two weeks trying desperately to get a veggie garden planted, despite the fact we’ve never managed to grow anything in our lives. We did pretty well too, with juicy red strawberries growing, a blueberry bush started, mint, thyme and basil planted and going strong. Our mint is double the size, our basil is flowering.
